WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM Pulls Out Of BORIS, TORCHE Tour
April 30, 2008"Due to personal reasons," Pacific Northwestern black metal eco-terrorists WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have pulled out of their previously announced North American tour with BORIS and TORCHE. The trek will still go ahead without WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM.
WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM's sound is influenced by Scandinavian black metal, doom metal, dark ambient and folk music. The band has described its musical direction as "purifying black metal" or "transformative black metal," although in interviews the group has shown an unwillingness to be restricted by any musical label.
WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM's sophomore album, "Two Hunters", came out last year via Southern Lord.
